Stereotypes have been around for a long time, from all African American people like fried chicken and how Chinese people are smart. But I'm going to talk about some of the stereotypes that people have said to me.
Some of them are, "You are fat, so you can't run." and "You are weird since you play a card game." I have also seen some of my friends with some stereotypes thrown at them. Like, "All Thomasboro kids are stupid and, blah, blah, blah." I think we can get rid of them by telling people who you look up too to help you. Like a teacher or your parents. Chin-Kee looks like an idiot when I first saw him. He seems like he can't talk correctly and doesn't know right from wrong. He seems huge, so is that a stereotype that all Chinese people are huge? The author did this so he can show what people think of Chinese people. So he can try to get rid of those stereotypes.

I mostly remember where my Dad came from so I'll kinda some my Dad's life up. He said we came from Germany, we are either German or Irish, I can't remember. After a while, on my dad's side of the family, my grandmother gave birth to my Dad in Tiffin, Ohio. He grew up there for a while with his older sister and brother. Then they moved to Illinois, I don't know why but they moved to Ponitiac.
Now, I don't know much about my Biological mom, all I know is that my biological mom and dad met somewhere and had me and my sister Mckenna. I was born in Champaign and raised in Thomasboro. Then something happened and they got divorced, and after a while, my dad met my step-mom. They got married and had my little sister Raegyn. Now we all live in the same house we all lived since I was a baby. And we lived happily ever after. I think they got here by plane or something during the 1960's or something. They got here and lived here ever since. I only know so much since I asked only bits and pieces. I might ask my Dad more since Mr. Kerr brought this up. But overall, this is my family lineage. In class I have been learning how to write. It's has been very crucial for me. It's been very helpful to learn how to write different papers. Like don't use I, me, you, ect, while writing a formal paper. And not to use certain words to start sentences, like but and "and". Overall, learning how to write is a very good skill for me and writing papers!
